![]() ![]() Can't You See Me was a slight disappointment but it is only because I've loved all their songs so far. ![]() I think this illustrates how highly I see TXT's Title Tracks because they are definitely quality music that matches my taste. I think it is 'amazing' and 'memorable' in many ways but it definitely falls very short of the S tier for me due to some pet peeves I have with it. However I still think it is deserves a place in the A tier because I do not think is not just a 'quality song that will be a great listen anytime'. But despite being somebody who has experienced a similar sort of thing regarding the lyrics, something prevents me from resonating with it as much as I want to. (if that makes sense) It is a strong song on its own right. If there is anything I have to complain about Can't You See Me, I actually think too much thought was put to into it. I know it is meant to portray angst but I feel that it was overdone and unnecessary. I was not a fan of some of the sound affects used. I feel like it had a lot of potential to be amazing but certain parts, while (probably) necessary lyrically, took away from song. I remember being so disappointed that the excellent b-side that came along with this album, Drama, was NOT promoted despite in my opinion, being more superior than Can't You See Me. It is good, yes, but I was more impressed with their previous title tracks. Can't You See Me - Unfortunately, unlike many TXT fans, I did not like Can't you see as much as many did. What prevents it from being S atm I think is that it doesn't stay in my head for too long compared to Run Away and Blue Hour. With such unique and bright vocal colours, TXT really suits pop music and Crown stands as a very strong piece of pop music. The song is bright, bubbly and cheerful with a mini dark undertone, capturing the essence of youth. I remember when TXT were about to debut and many fans were worried that they would sound like BTS but Crown immediately distinguishes itself from their brother group and carves their unique concept and appeal. Crown+ - It stands as one of the best debuts of 4th gen k-pop: for good reason too: it is great. Not as good as Run Away though so it misses the plus sign. A bright and youthful dose of pure serotonin. The chorus is outstanding, the rest is great. ![]() It sucks you in like a black hole not letting even light escape, but when you give in, you just sing it in your head no matter what. However, the more you listen, the better it gets. ![]()
